Summer Car Rides: Yes, please…but Don’t Cook Me Like a Hot Dog!

Listen up! If your human’s idea of a “quick stop” turns into a Target run, leave me at home with the A/C and some peanut butter crunchy treat or a bowl of paw-some ice-cream!

Rolling on Wheels Tips

·      Tell your humans that we Divas need cool paw-some dog car beds to lay on while we roll. It maintains our body temperature fresh during high temperatures. Once you sit on one, your life will never be the same. It’s like being at the Spa. Check one out and text me later about your experience!

·      Never, ever leave your adorable bundle of fur in a hot car, not even for a short minute. It can get deadly fast.

Location, Location…Beach Please!

This is Ovi reporting live from Miami Beach, looking rich, strutting my stuff past golden retrievers with the Miami Housewives and their fury-loves…We are a trendy crowd, and we are bringing you our favorite pet friendly beaches…

·      Haulover Dog Beach: Clean water, nice people, and no firecrackers during special holidays.

·      Hollywood Dog Beach: Burn calories playing with friendly dogs and meeting new paw-awesome friends.

·      Bark Beach: You can swim and splash in the water without humans complaining!

Here are my top tips to share with your paw-fabulous friends for a wag-tastic beach day…

·      Do not drink the ocean water, it is bubbly, but it is not champagne…If you indulge drinking it, you will have runs, not fun!

·      Don’t forget to take your glam water bottle filled with fresh water and drink straight up to keep hydrated.

·      Watch Out for Hot Sand! If your paws are burning… Put on your booties or use plant-based paw wax to protect your rosy paws while showing off the fabulous pedicure you got at the groomers.

Now go and be your salty, sexy beach fur-sensation while you have fun in the sun!

I love hikes with Stella my BBF from Georgia but only the shady, breezy kind. When planning to spend the day discovering new trails, tell your human to pack like it’s a doggie Coachella!

• Snacks, Collapsible bowls for food & water

• Cooling vest or bandana

• Natural Repellant environmentally friendly for Mosquitos, Tics & Fleas make sure it’s DEET-FREE (especially for dogs with allergies and sensitive skin like me)

• Watch out for Sasquatch sightings!
