A Night with Santa Paws Lit Up Giralda: Music, Adoption, and a Magical Night in Coral Gables

On December 13, Paws in Town brought holiday magic to Giralda Avenue, Coral Gables with our event “A Night with Santa Paws.” It was an unforgettable evening where the community came together to celebrate, support rescue organizations, and enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience under the lights of The City Beautiful.

From the start, the atmosphere came alive with live saxophone music, setting the perfect soundtrack for a night filled with smiles, connections, and festive spirit. Vendors, families, animal lovers, and attendees gathered to share, discover local brands, and—most importantly—support a cause with purpose: adoption and animal welfare.

Adoption in Action: Applications and Hope

One of the most impactful moments of the evening was the presence of the following rescue organizations:

• It Takes a Village to Rescue

• Dalmatian Rescue

• Piccolinis Rescue

Throughout the night, they received numerous adoption applications, reminding us that every event can mark the beginning of a new home and a new life for many furry friends.

Red Carpet, Covers, and Recognitions

Our red carpet set the stage for memorable moments: the Director of Paws in Town celebrated her recent cover feature in Líderes Latinos, and we proudly unveiled the Winter Digital Edition cover of Paws in Town, honoring Scarlet Ortiz as Person of the Season.

We also conducted interviews and award recognitions to honor the Rescues of the Year, celebrating their tireless work and the real impact they make within our community.
